Surah Ad-Dukhan is the 44th chapter of the Qur’an and it has 59 verses. It was revealed to Prophet Muhammad in Mecca. The name “Ad-Dukhan” means “The Smoke.” This surah tells people that the Qur’an is a message from Allah to guide humanity. It warns those who do not believe in God and reminds them about the punishment that can come if they ignore the truth.
